Generative Fill
An AI feature that creates new image content to fill selected areas, guided by the surrounding visual context.
Generative fill uses trained AI models to synthesize new pixels that match the style, lighting, and content of the surrounding image. Unlike simple cloning, it generates genuinely new content. Applications include extending images beyond their boundaries (outpainting), replacing removed objects with scene-appropriate content, and creating variations of existing compositions.
