RAW Format
An unprocessed image format that preserves all data captured by the camera sensor without in-camera processing or compression.
RAW files contain the complete sensor data, giving editors maximum flexibility for adjusting exposure, white balance, and color after capture. RAW files are larger than JPEG and require processing before sharing. They offer significantly more editing latitude, especially for exposure recovery and color correction, making them preferred by professional photographers.
