Sharpening
An enhancement technique that increases edge contrast to make image details appear crisper and more defined.
Sharpening works by increasing the contrast along edges in an image, making them appear more distinct. Traditional sharpening (unsharp mask) can introduce halos and artifacts if over-applied. AI sharpening understands image content and applies appropriate sharpening selectively, enhancing genuine edges while leaving smooth areas untouched.
