Common questions
Can I pixelate faces for privacy?
+
Yes. Switch to region mode, place the rectangle over the face, license plate, address, or other sensitive area, then use a 24 px or larger block size for stronger anonymization.
Which block size should I choose?
+
Use 8 px for a light stylized pixel look, 24 px for face privacy, 36 px for small text or license plates, and 64 px when you need a strong censor effect.
Can I undo the pixelate after saving?
+
Once downloaded, the pixelate is permanently baked into the image pixels. Keep your original file if you think you might need the unpixelated version later.
Want to sharpen instead of pixelate?
AI Enhance can intelligently sharpen soft or out-of-focus photos, recovering detail that simple sharpening filters miss. Try it on photos that need the opposite of pixelate.
