Features

1

Pixel-level eyedropper

Hover over the image and click any pixel to capture its exact color. A magnified loupe follows your cursor so you can target individual pixels with precision.

2

Multi-format output

Every picked color is displayed simultaneously in HEX (#FF5733), RGB (rgb(255, 87, 51)), and HSL (hsl(14, 100%, 60%)) — ready to paste into CSS, Figma, or any design tool.

3

Auto-generated palette

The tool analyzes the image and suggests a five-color palette of the most dominant hues, which you can copy as a set or adjust by picking alternate shades.

4

Copy to clipboard

Click the HEX, RGB, or HSL value to copy it to your clipboard instantly. A toast notification confirms the copy so you can paste without switching context.

How to use

1

Upload an image

Drag and drop any JPEG, PNG, or WebP file into the color picker. Screenshots, photos, and design mockups all work.

2

Pick a color

Move your cursor over the image. The magnified loupe shows a zoomed-in view of the area under your pointer. Click to lock in the color.

3

Copy or save the values

Click the HEX, RGB, or HSL code to copy it to your clipboard. Repeat to build a collection, or use the auto-generated dominant palette.

Common questions

Can I pick colors from a screenshot?

+

Yes. Take a screenshot on your device, upload the resulting PNG or JPEG, and use the eyedropper just like you would on any photo. This is a great way to sample colors from a website or app.

How accurate are the color values?

+

The tool reads the exact sRGB pixel data from the image canvas, so the HEX, RGB, and HSL values are precise to within one unit. Keep in mind that your monitor's calibration can make on-screen color appear different from the numerical value.

Can I extract a full brand color palette from a logo?

+

Absolutely. Upload your logo, pick each brand color individually, and copy the codes. The auto-palette also works well for logos with distinct color blocks.

Need to enhance the image first?

If your source photo is dark or noisy, AI Enhance can improve exposure and reduce grain — giving the color picker cleaner, more accurate samples to work with.
