Features

1

Frame rate control

Set the delay between frames from 10 ms to 2000 ms. Fine-tune individual frame timing or apply a uniform delay across all frames for a consistent animation speed.

2

Drag-and-drop reordering

Rearrange frames by dragging thumbnails into the order you want. Add or remove frames at any point without restarting the process.

3

Custom output size

Set the GIF width and height in pixels. All frames are resized proportionally to fit, keeping the file size manageable for web use.

4

Loop settings

Choose between infinite loop, a specific number of loops, or a single play-through. The setting is embedded in the GIF metadata so it behaves correctly in every viewer.

Common questions

How many frames can I include?

+

You can add up to 100 frames per GIF. Keep in mind that more frames and higher resolutions produce larger files. For web use, 20 to 40 frames at moderate resolution usually strikes the best balance between quality and file size.

Can I make a GIF from a video?

+

This tool works with image sequences. To convert a video to a GIF, first extract individual frames from the video using a video editor or screen-capture tool, then upload those frames here.

Why is my GIF file size so large?

+

GIF file size depends on the number of frames, the output resolution, and the color complexity of each frame. Reduce the output width, lower the frame count, or use images with fewer colors to shrink the file.

Want sharper source frames?

AI Enhance can upscale and sharpen each frame before you assemble the GIF. Cleaner input images produce a smoother, more professional animation.
