Super Resolution
An AI technique that generates a high-resolution image from a low-resolution input by inferring missing detail.
Super resolution goes beyond simple upscaling by using deep learning models trained on pairs of low and high-resolution images. The model learns to predict what fine detail should exist at higher resolutions. Applications include restoring old photographs, enhancing surveillance footage, and improving mobile phone photos for printing.
