Why sticker removal is harder than it looks — Magic Eraser

A sticker is essentially an opaque patch covering a region of the image — the original pixels behind it are gone. Manual editing tools like the clone stamp need a similar-looking source area to copy from, which doesn't always exist. AI-based removal predicts what the missing pixels should be from the surrounding context, so it works even when there's nothing to copy. This makes it well-suited to busy backgrounds, faces partially covered by emoji, and screenshots where the sticker sits on top of UI elements.

ขั้นตอนการใช้งาน

  1. 1

    Upload your photo or screenshot

Open Magic Eraser and drop in the image with the sticker. JPEG, PNG, and WebP are all supported, including transparent PNGs and screenshots saved from any phone.

  2. 2

    Brush over the sticker

Paint over the entire sticker including any drop shadow or border. For irregular sticker shapes — like a heart or emoji with transparent edges — brush slightly past the visible edge to give the AI clean boundaries.

  3. 3

    Tap Erase and export

The AI rebuilds the region underneath in seconds. Most stickers come out cleanly the first try; busy backgrounds may need a quick second pass with a smaller brush to tidy up details.

หมายเหตุสำคัญ

Stickers covering faces work but the rebuilt face is the AI's best guess at what was underneath — useful for restoring a photo of yourself, but not a way to reveal a stranger's identity. Sticker removal does not bypass watermark protection on copyrighted screenshots from streaming services, gaming overlays, or paid apps where the watermark is a copyright signal. Treat it like Photoshop: only on content you have rights to edit.

คำถามที่พบบ่อย

Can I remove stickers covering a face?
Yes. The AI reconstructs what's most likely underneath. If it's your own face and you have other photos of yourself, the result is usually close. If it's someone else, the AI is guessing — it can't reveal an identity it has no information about.
Does it work on animated stickers in videos?
Magic Eraser currently handles still images. For video sticker removal, export the frames you need, clean them in Magic Eraser, and recompile.
What about multiple stickers in one photo?
Brush over them all in one pass, or remove them one at a time. For overlapping stickers, removing them one at a time gives cleaner results.
Will the sticker leave any trace?
On plain or textured backgrounds, no. On highly detailed backgrounds — patterned wallpaper, text, repeating logos — you may see softening where the sticker was. Use the touch-up brush to refine if needed.
