ความเร็วชัตเตอร์
The duration for which the camera sensor is exposed to light, measured in fractions of a second or full seconds.
Shutter speed controls motion appearance in photographs. Fast shutter speeds like 1/1000s freeze action — athletes mid-stride, splashing water droplets, birds in flight. Slow shutter speeds like 1/30s or longer create motion blur — silky waterfalls, light trails from car headlights, star trails from Earth's rotation. Very slow shutter speeds require a tripod to prevent camera shake from introducing unwanted blur. The exposure triangle connects shutter speed with aperture and ISO — adjusting one requires compensating with another to maintain correct exposure. Portrait photographers typically use 1/125s or faster to prevent subtle subject movement from causing softness.
