   Stand against any plain-ish wall or background (the AI will replace it). Use natural light from a window in front of you — no flash. Hold the phone at eye level, 4-5 feet away. Look directly at the camera with a neutral expression, mouth closed. Remove glasses if possible (many countries now require glasses-free photos).

Lighting is the most important factor — stand facing a large window with natural light illuminating your face evenly. Avoid overhead room lighting that creates shadows under eyes and nose. For babies and small children, lay them on a white sheet and photograph from directly above — this is the accepted technique and the AI handles the sheet-to-white-background conversion. Take multiple photos and pick the one with the most natural, neutral expression.
